Scott Cordova
Scott Cordova had an interest in music and entertainment early on; at the age of 6, he was already singing and dancing to music at a small, Phoenix venue that he frequented with family. However it was at the age of 13 that his love of music, with a gifted Sears catalog bass guitar, took off. Scott began playing drums, singing in school choir and playing his bass, forming a band (The Nomads) with other neighborhood teens, while they entertained at area parties.
Scott Cordova made his professional debut performance in 1966, at the age of 16, at a gallery in beautiful Sedona, Arizona where the envigorating rock melodies energized onlookers.

As Scott continued to entertain, his fresh ivy league look was exchanged for an Arthur, the French-art-inspired mop top, soon after he'd become aware of The Beatles’ on-the-scene arrival. He was inspired by local Phoenix-area rock bands and after reading an issue of LIFE magazine, complete with exhilirating photos and watching era icons on the Ed Sullivan show, he began by delving into a musical movement inspired by the "British Invasion."The next movement in Scott's life's concerto, brought an interlude into the army which brought Scott home with rebounding interest in musical release and his rising bass career.
As he obtained an architectural degree in drafting, Scott began by playing bass guitar in Phoenix with the Ozone Boogie Brothers Band and sitting in with numerous other "Valley of the Sun" bands in accelerando. Subsequently, in 1976, Scott met with and accompanied Jerry Westfall and his brother, Floyd in the Westfall Band (https://www.prestalanemusic.com/floyd.html) contracted by Prestalane Music Publishing, aka Presta Records, and most recently notable under the moniker Buena Vista.

In the wake of Westfall, which retired with its female lead's retirement and relocation out of country, and which had performed throughout the Northwest in California, Oregon, Washingfton, Idaho, Alaska and Canada, Scott founded the Oregan-based bands RMS as its featured lead singer and bassist, added in Carla Black for ''The Grand Slam Band', formed 'The Others' and co-founded 'Network' with well-known Northwest guitarist Dave Peterson. 'The Others', comprised of Scott Cordova, Mike Nielsen and Doug Bonham moved the band from Eugene, Oregon to Boulder, Colorado in 1982 where he has been a part of our local Colorado Music Scenes and culture and communities since.Scott Cordova has decades of performances with Boulder, Colorado notables and area bands including Kick, One Night Stand, Colorado Midnight Train, Chrome Rider, Minstrel of the Galaxy and Mighty Jo Tep, which latter has also performed at the Boulder Theater, Tulagi (opening for Firefall), and Fox Theater; while he currently sits in with many area notables, and performs with the talented area artists of Jumpin @ Shadows, Dochaze and CocoBlues and with the original compositions and musical renderings of Classic rock, Rhythm and Blues and Era Pop.
